    Hey,
I’m in the middle of a home renovation. Would like to use glass instead of tiles as backsplashes in my Kitchen. I think it’s cost-effective and will look good.

My only concern here is durability.
Heard glass backsplashes will crack easily. Especially when the glass is being installed near a heat source. So I’m a bit confused about how long it’s gonna last in the kitchen.

When I discussed this with a nearby custom glass company, they told me it won’t crack if it is tempered. Is this true?
If any of you installed glass backsplashes in your kitchen, please help me here.
    Any suggestions would be great.
