    No – it is not unreasonable to expect a wide range of different activities and exercise programs at an assisted living facility. Activity programs have come a long way since Bingo and word games, and seniors need to be engaged in meaningful activities for the whole day and caregivers and/or activity assistants can accompany your parents on activities they like to do. Meet with the Activities director with a list of things you want your parents to become involved in, and ask them to develop an activity care plan for your parents using these activities, using caregivers to assist them if they need to.
