<p>I have a beautiful five-month-old daughter. We live close to my parents, and they babysit my daughter almost all the time. I visited a dental clinic which provides family dentistry services in Oakville. During our discussion, the dentist told me that adults with bad oral hygiene can transmit bacteria to children while kissing and sharing utensils. This can cause tooth infections in kids.My mom hasn’t been to a dentist in years. I told her about this and suggested to get a dental checkup. She blew up at me and now refuses to see her granddaughter. How can I make her understand that this is not to degrade her, but is a matter of the well-being of my daughter?</p>
